Engaging young minds to think about worldviews

A worldview, simply put, is an interpretation of reality. It is a conceptual framework by which a person typically uses to address the following four basic questions about human life:

1. Where did we come from (origin)?

2. How should we relate to others (morality)?

3. Why do we exist (meaning and purpose)?

4. What happens when we die (destiny)?

These are some important questions most people ask at some point in their lives. As children grow into adults, they normally would have asked these questions in one form or another.

Have any children ever asked you these questions?

Have you thought about these questions yourself?

Do you have a satisfactory answer to these questions?

What is a worldview?
